There will be 3 Corneal Suturing DryLabs on Saturday 23 May, during the Eucornea congress in Porto. The Drylabs on Saturday will follow a Corneal Suturing and Corneal Gluing Instructional Course on Friday evening, led by Haminder Dua (UK) and Dalia Said (UK). The Instructional Course will include presentations on suturing corneal lacerations, as well as corneal gluing techniques using both hard (cyanoacrylate) and soft (fibrin) adhesives.
On Saturday 23 May each Corneal Suturing DryLab will include a brief theoretical component, followed by hands-on practice. Participants will mirror an instructor, who will guide them step-by-step through each stage of the techniques.
Each DryLab will run for 90 minutes on Saturday 23 May at the following times:
- 08:00 – 09:30
- 11:30 – 13:00
- 14:30 – 16:00
The cost is €40 per DryLab.
Limited number of places per drylab. If you have already registered for the congress you will have already received an email with a link to book a DryLab. If you are registering for the congress, you can also book a place on a DryLab at the same time.
