Call for Instructional Courses - Now Open!

Dates to Note

  • Submission Opens: 9 October 2026
  • Submission Closes: 15 November 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: December 2026

Introduction

  • The 18th Eucornea Congress will take place from 14 – 16 May 2027 in Budapest
  • Submissions are now open for Instructional Courses
  • The submission period will remain open until Sunday 15 November

Instructional Course Submissions

  • All Instructional Courses will be 60 minutes in duration with a minimum of 15 minutes discussion time.
  • It is recommended that Instructional Courses have two chairpersons.
  • An instructional course should be a structured learning session which will provide participants with practical tools and insights into the topic of the course.
  • There should be a focus on teaching and ample time should be left for questions and answers.
  • Please consider the following formats when compiling your course:               
  1. Didactic presentations with scheduled questions and answers managed by the course chair.
  2. Case presentations and discussion between panellists with audience involvement.
  • It is required for all presenters to be in Budapest and not present virtually. A virtual presentation may only facilitated at the discretion of the Course Chair where a speaker is deemed critical to a course and face-to-face attendance is not possible.

Terms & Conditions

  • Each applicant may submit a maximum of 2 Instructional Course proposals.
  • Each application must indicate whether the chairperson/s, or any of the faculty members, has a financial interest in the subject matter.
  • Each 60-minute course must include a minimum of 15 minutes discussion time.


Submission Format      

All submissions should include the following information:

Title (Max 20 words): The title of the course should not exceed 20 words.

Description (Max 200 words): Precise description of the topic to be covered in the course.

Objectives (Max 150 words): A concise statement explaining the planned learning outcomes for those who attend the course and what the attendees should have understood and learned at the end of the course.

Schedule: Provide a running order for the course which includes listing chairpersons, proposed speakers and presentation topics.

Timeline:

Closing Date: 15 November 2026 at 23.59 CET.
